How often should I have a facial?
Every 4-6 weeks. This helps to keep the skin exfoliated and maintain a healthy glow. Our
skin goes through a renewal of cells every 28-45 days. A facial will remove the dead cells
and renew your skin.
Will I break out after a facial?
It is not unusual to have a few breakouts. A facial stimulates your follicles to purge oil, dead skin and bacteria.
Do men need facials?
Absolutely! Facials for men are excellent for controlling bumps from shaving and to keep the skin exfoliated. It revives the skin and feels great!
Does waxing hurt?
The first time it hurts more than any other time. Why? Because if you wax regularly you are removing less hair each time.
Will the hair grow back thicker, stronger or darker?
Absolutely not! When hair is shaved it is cut off at the thick part of the hair, which is
why you can feel stubble the next day. A properly waxed hair is removed from the root,
when the hair starts to grow back it is a new hair, very fine at the tip, so no stubble.
How often will I need it done?
It averages out to once a month, however, some people take a few times to get to that
routine. It always takes at least two, sometimes three waxings for hair to get into the
same growth pattern to feel smooth.
How long does the hair have to be?
The hair must be at least as long as the root is deep, but even this will vary depending on the thickness of hair. Legs need 2-3 weeks of growth.
